Aviation Transportation (Professional Degree)
The training of professional master's degree students mainly consists of three key components: course study, professional practice, and thesis writing. It aims to cultivate students' mastery of solid theoretical foundations and broad professional knowledge in the transportation industry they are engaged in, familiarize them with relevant industry norms, and enable them to independently undertake specialized technical work such as engineering planning, design, implementation, research, development, and management in a specific direction within the industry. Students are also expected to be well-versed in industry norms and possess good professional ethics. This program began enrolling students in 2021 and currently has a total of 16 graduate supervisors.
Main research directions:
1. Air traffic operation control and safety
2. Operation, Maintenance and Management of Civil Aviation Airports
3. Aviation Meteorology and Operational Risk Control
4. Smart Operation and Safety Management of Civil Aviation
5. Flight Procedure Design and Airspace Evaluation.
Aeronautical Engineering (Professional Degree)
The professional degree is oriented towards the practical engineering needs of enterprises, with a focus on cultivating students' ability to "identify and solve problems". It aims to equip students with a solid foundation in theoretical knowledge and broad professional expertise in the field of aviation engineering, as well as a proficient command of a foreign language. Graduates are expected to possess strong practical problem-solving skills, be capable of undertaking technical or management roles in the aviation engineering field, and demonstrate high professional ethics. The program is designed with a focus on the practical application demands of enterprises, emphasizing a student-centered approach and individualized teaching to fully leverage the initiative, proactiveness, and creativity of postgraduate students. It places great importance on the integration of theory and practice, and employs more heuristic, seminar, and case study teaching methods. Classroom instruction is combined with self-study, and learning and research are conducted in response to actual engineering problems. The program also attaches great significance to ideological education and the cultivation of moral character, and strengthens the training and development of postgraduate students' self-study ability, practical ability, expression ability, cooperation ability, and the ability to identify and solve problems, continuously enhancing their innovation capabilities and overall quality. This program began enrolling students in 2022 and currently has a total of 14 postgraduate supervisors.
Main research directions:
1. Safety operation and control technology of civil aviation airports
2. Optimization of Aircraft Design
3. Combustion Control and Performance Evaluation of Aeronautical Engines
4. Intelligent Maintenance and Reliability Management of Aircraft
5. Non-destructive Testing and Structural Health Monitoring of Aircraft
6. Damage detection and repair of aviation composite materials.
